Roy Orbison started his career as a Country singer and turned to songwriting. Roy was blessed with a rich, angelic voice that shivered with operatic vibrato. He had twenty-two singles on the Billboard charts between 1960 and 1966, eight of which were in the Top Ten. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
Roy and the Orbitz are honored to pay tribute to one of the greatest vocalists and songwriters of rock. This four member band of multi-talented musicians carries with it strong harmonies and a superb musical foundation to provide the very best Roy tribute band in the Midwest.
Bruce Springsteen once declared "Now everybody knows that nobody sings like Roy Orbison." Well, you haven't heard Mark and the Orbitz.
